Easy Creamy Hummus

It only takes five ingredients to make this super creamy hummus!

  • 1 (540 mL) can chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Can opener
  • Blender or food processor
  • Spatula
  • Serving bowl


  1. Drain chickpeas and add to blender or food processor.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Scoop into a serving bowl and smooth the top with spatula. You can use the spatula to give the top a decorative swirl.
  5. Offer pita triangles or raw vegetables to dip. Hummus also makes a tasty wrap or sandwich filling!
