Crispy Tofu Puff Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of mini tofu puffs
  • 2 Tbsp olive or canola oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Serving sauces

Equipment

  • Oven
  • 24 6" bamboo skewers, soaked in water
  • Large baking sheet
  • Basting brush

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Thread 3 tofu puffs on each skewer. 
  3. Put all skewers on a large baking sheet. 
  4. Brush tofu puffs with oil. 
  5. Grind salt and pepper over skewers. 
  6. Put baking sheet in oven and bake or 10 minutes. 
  7. Remove baking sheet from oven. 
  8. Wait until tofu puffs are cold and crispy. 
  9. Enjoy with or without sauce (suggestions include soy sauce, hot sauce, ketchup).
