Basil and Goat's Cheese Spread
This basil and goat cheese spread is delicious served as an appetizer with crackers or spread over a bagel for lunch.
- 3/4 c. walnuts
- 1 c. fresh basil
- 2 roughly cut spring onions
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g goat's cheese
- In a food processor add walnuts, basil and spring onions.
- Then add olive oil and cheese, and process until mixture becomes a paste.
- Transfer to bowl and serve.
This is delicious served as an appetizer with crackers, or spread over a bagel for lunch. It is great stored for up to a week in the fridge.
