- Bring milk to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until heated through but not bubbling.
- Stir in vanilla.

You can also warm milk easily in the microwave. Heat on medium-high, stirring every 15 seconds. For every cup of milk, it takes about 1 minute to heat through.
