Orange Pecan Delight

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup pecans

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Cream the butter and the sugars together.
  4. Add the eggs and orange rind and beat well.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and blend in the sifted ingredients gradually.
  6. Add the nuts and drop the batter in rounded spoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes.
