Dream Cheese Cakes

Ingredients

  • 3 8-oz packages cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • TOPPING
  • 2 500 mL tubs sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • red or green cherries (optional)

  • small paper cups
  • spatula

  • wire cooling rack

For filling:
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Add cream cheese and vanilla to bowl and mix well. 
  3. Add 1 cup of sugar and eggs. Beat well.
  4. Fill each paper cup 1/2 full with filling. 
  5. Bake at 350° F for about 15-20 minutes (until tops crack slightly).

For topping:

  1. While filling is baking, combine sour cream, 1/4 cup of sugar and vanilla and mix well. 

To finish:

  1. Spoon small amount of topping on the cakes and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  2. Cool on rack.
  3. Garnish with piece of cherries.
  4. Refrigerate.
