The Spencer-Rankin family enjoys a relatively low-stress morning muesli buffet for breakfast. Their kitchen hack is following the advice of eating and feeding guru Ellyn Satter in which the adult provides the time, place, and foods for the meal, and the child decides what and how much to eat from the foods that are offered. By taking the pressure off and modeling what we want to see, kids learn to eat well and get what they need...in the long run. It's a winning combination. Bon appetit!
