Video Editing Checklist
Use these editing tips to help you prepare your video submission for the Hands-on Cook-off contest.

- Prepare your video in a file format that is compatible with YouTube: .MP4, .MOV, .MPEG4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .FLV, 3GPP, WebM. Videos in other formats will fail to upload. Refer to YouTube's troubleshooter to help you convert your file to a compatible format.
- Compress your video to a maximum filesize of 100 MB. This can be done by using a video compressor app or software.
- If you are using music, use only royalty-free music. YouTube will flag videos that have copyright-protected music, such as popular songs and tunes. This will make your entry ineligible. If you are using someone else’s music, ask for permission to use it and include credit at the end of your video or purchase a license that allows you to use the copyright music and email a copy of that license to contact@bettertogetherbc.ca.
