10 Tips for Your Next Trip to the Farmers Market

In the summer months, a trip to the Farmers Market is, hands down, one of our fave family outings. There’s not a more enjoyable way to buy groceries, while also trying (and learning about) local food, and meeting the farmers who grow what we’re eating.
It’s no wonder that BC has seen a huge rise in the number of shoppers frequenting farmers markets. We were thrilled to recently come across this article in the Vancouver Sun, which highlights the growing popularity of markets as a shopping destination.
Whether you’re a regular market shopper or newbie on the ‘local’ scene, we’d recommend you approach your next market visit with a bit of strategy. Here are 10 must-know tips, courtesy or our Twitter community, for making the most of your seasonal shopping. Let us know if you have more to add by commenting here!
