Fresh Pea Salad
A little jewel of a salad with a Japanese inspired dressing to celebrate summer.
- 1 lb fresh peas
- 1 bunch of radishes
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp mirin
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- measuring spoons
- cutting board and small knife
- small mixing bowl
- Shell peas. Wash and thinly slice radishes. Toss together in a small mixing bowl.
- Add sesame oil, mirin and soy sauce and toss together. Portion into small serving bowls.
Shelling peas is such a social activity, and young hands will want to help. This is such a simple, tasty, salad that we make it over and over again as long as the fresh peas last.
