Show us in a 3-minute video how to prepare a recipe and submit your video in one of two entry categories:
Recipe source must be acknowledged, whether it’s from your family or from a cookbook. Videos must be no longer than three minutes; this requirement will be strictly enforced. Videos that meet the contest criteria will be judged based on how well they demonstrate the recipe and how well they reconnect food and fun in the kitchen. Refer to the contest rules and contest judging criteria to help you plan the making of your video.
Don't forget to submit your recipe to appear on the bettertogetherbc.ca website.
Vote on the video you think is the best in each category!
The video judged to be the best will win $1000 cash. The runner-up will win $500 cash. The video with the most votes will win the People's Choice award of $300 cash.
Videos submitted in the Youth category have a chance to win a prize for their team and a prize for their school or youth program of choice. The video judged to be the best will win $500 cash plus $500 cash for their school or youth program. The runner up will win $250 cash plus $250 cash for their school or youth program. The video with the most votes will win the People's Choice award in the youth category and $150 cash plus $150 cash for their school or youth program.
All videos that don’t win any of the prizes up for grabs in their category will be entered in the random draw to win $500 cash.
This year, we are excited to have the following 6 judges on board to determine the Grand Prize winner and the Runner Up Winner for each category.
